Casting performers for the "American Son" theatre play. See the details below. About the project: An estranged interracial couple must confront their feelings about race and bias after their son is detained by the local police following a traffic stop incident. Their disparate histories and backgrounds inform their assumptions as they try to find out what happened to their son. Additional info: -Please bring a resume and conflicts from December 1st – February 10th, 2024. Headshot is encouraged. Cold readings will be done from the script. -Rehearsals start at the beginning of December and will rehearse 3 days a week with a break for the Holidays. The final schedule will be determined after the show is cast and conflicts have been provided. -Show Dates: February 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, & 10th, 2024 at the Anderson Center Theater If you are interested, please apply.
