About the project: A short film genre blends in two halves, one half suspense thriller, and one half bright comedy. Synopsis: The world of a miserable and desperate man with nothing left to lose collides in a road rage incident with an up-and-coming boy band who is desperate to be selected for the reality tv show "Boy'ling Point". Rate: $50.00 - $200.00 / day. Additional: Main Performers are compensated with a daily rate. No participation fees required. Additional info: First auditions will be accepted online immediately; shoots TBD in Detroit metro area, aiming for late summer 2023. Seeking talent from, or able to work in the Detroit Metro area, MI. Note: Callbacks will be in person (tentatively set for June 17). Preparing to film in late August, 2023. Four lead actors will have a few rehearsal days ahead of filming. When applying, please include a headshot and preliminary video audition using the sides below. Lead. A bitter and resentful man, who let his dreams of being a musician fade further and further away until they were no longer achievable. One morning, when Doug accidentally steps on and destroys his beloved guitar, he can no longer suppress his rage and takes it out on anyone around him.
