ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. The company is seeking actors for "The Facility" psychological thriller. See the details below. About the project: A young father, just released from prison, is mandated by the court to live in a facility away from his daughter, but the strange staff and bizarre incidents that occur cause him to believe that this place isn’t what it seems. Rate: Paid, see the roles' description. All pay rates are flat including a full buyout for unlimited use for internet, film, and TV in perpetuity. All actors that are cast will receive credit and access to the film to add to their reels. Additional info: Looking for talent to perform in a non-union micro-budget feature film that is shooting in the DC Metro Area June 5 - July 2, 2023. The shooting dates and total amount of hours required on set for each role are listed in the character descriptions below. Initial submissions will be via self-recorded video auditions of sides with virtual callbacks via Zoom (a specific time will be arranged with each actor/actress selected for callbacks). Dates that fall on weekdays will always have a set arrival time of 7 pm except June 19 (arrival time 9.30 am) and June 28 (arrival time 5 pm). All Saturday and Sunday dates will be full-day shoots, filming during the day and evening. Catering will be provided each day. If the words, “Rehearsal Required” are in the character description, you will be needed for at least one rehearsal. The rehearsal dates are June 2 (7 pm-10 pm), June 3 (12 pm-4 pm), and June 4 (2 pm-6 pm). All rehearsals will be in Washington, DC. If you are not available for the shoot dates for a character, or you are not available for at least one of the rehearsal dates listed above, please DO NOT submit. When applying, please submit your self-recorded video auditions(see the sides in the attachment) with your headshots, resume, full body picture of your current look, and link to reel (if available). Please put “Feature Film Audition” in the subject line. In the body of the email please include the name(s) of the character(s) you’re auditioning for. All submissions must be received no later than 10am - Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
