About the project: "Thin Walls" is a captivating tale set in 1960s Boston, following the journey of Anna, a neglected and downtrodden woman yearning for an escape from her suffocating circumstances. With an unyielding passion to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming an esteemed author, Anna pours her heart and soul into crafting a gripping romance thriller. However, the constant demands and belittlement from her oppressive boss, coupled with the incessant bickering of her next-door neighbours, push her perilously close to the edge of her sanity. As the weight of her reality grows heavier, the boundaries between what is real and what is a figment of her imagination begin to blur, painting a mesmerizing portrait of a mind teetering on the precipice of both creativity and madness. "Thin Walls" unveils the poignant struggle of an individual whose pursuit of artistic expression becomes entwined with a delicate dance between reality and fiction, ultimately challenging the very essence of what it means to create and to exist. Anna, a spirited soul in her late 20s, embodies a unique blend of creativity and weariness, yearning for a life far grander than the drab and monotonous existence she endures each day. Fuelled by an unquenchable desire, she aspires to transcend her circumstances and emerge as a revered author. Amidst the ceaseless turmoil of her neighbours' relentless quarrels and the degrading treatment she endures from her boss.
Mr. Daley, a man in his forties, commands a position of power as the head of a thriving business. However, his achievements and wealth has blinded him to the ethical treatment of his employees, leading him to routinely exploit and manipulate them. With an utter disregard for their well-being, he callously uses his authority as a tool for his own gain. In his relentless pursuit of success, Mr. Daley embodies a character marred by the toxic blend of entitlement, indifference.
Donna, an adventurous young woman in her early twenties, embodies the spirit of a plucky young girl, grateful for the opportunity presented by her current job, she cherishes every moment, recognizing it as a stroke of luck. Despite the unmistakable flirtatious advances from Mr. Daley, she courageously balances a fine line, either boldly disregarding or adeptly deflecting his inappropriate behavior.
Missus, a young woman in her twenties, carries the weight of a lifetime of being pushed around and taken advantage of. Throughout her existence, she has become all too familiar with being used and treated as a mere plaything, rarely ever taken seriously by anyone, particularly men. Despite these hardships, she holds an unyielding desire for stability and affection in the midst of her chaotic and frenzied life.
Mister has long been accustomed to effortlessly obtaining whatever his heart desires, yet he tragically underestimates the true value of his blessings. With a callous disregard for the feelings of others, he shamelessly exploits and manipulates his loved ones, treating them as pawns to serve his selfish whims or to alleviate the monotony that taints his existence. His demeanour is characterized by an unsettling combination of rudeness, brashness.
