Frederick Frankenstein is the grandson of the notorious Transylvanian mad scientist, Victor Frankenstein. The Monster is created by Frederick Frankenstein, grandson of the notorious Victor Frankenstein. This role requires a physically big actor, as tall and looming as possible. He must be a skilled physical performer and able to make a variety of noises to communicate as the Monster. Some tap dance experience is a plus. Elizabeth Benning is a wealthy, beautiful socialite from New York City. She is engaged to Frederick Frankenstein, the Dean of Anatomy at Johns, Miriam, and Anthony Hopkins School of Medicine. Igor--pronounced EYE-gore, he insists--is the servant and friend of Frederick Frankenstein, the brilliant scientist. Being a flunky to the Frankensteins runs in the family; Igor’s grandfather served Frederick’s grandfather, Victor. Igor has a pronounced hunchback that moves location on his back every scene, though he is unaware of the shift for "Young Frankenstein"
