Casting call for the church office: divine comedy - series pilot. In need of actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: A church comedy series filmed mockumentary style. Rate: TBD. Additional info: Shooting dates June 22, 23, and 24th preferred. (Series Regular), no height preference. Miguel is a youth pastor in the church whose main ambition is to become the lead pastor. He is willing to do whatever it takes, including some actions others may find far too intense. Must be able to shoot multiple episodes.
(Series Regular), no height preference. Samantha is the children’s pastor at the church. She’s trendy and hip but tends to be a little ditsy. Her ideas are fresh, but her methods of explaining them leave most people confused. She’s very valley-girl like and air-headed, but can be surprisingly creative. Must be able to shoot multiple episodes.
(Series Regular), no height preference. Ethel is an older woman in the church. She’s the receptionist and has been there longer than anyone. She’s a chain smoker who sneaks hits of a vape while working, and whose voice is raspy from years of abusing her lungs. She isn’t very attentive and is constantly grumpy. Must be able to shoot multiple episodes.
