In Need of Performers for "Surely, Sherlock" Show
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking performers to play roles in "Surely, Sherlock" play. See more details below. Rate: This is a profit-share show, as you can see, there are a lot of people involved, so if there is a profit, each share will be small. Additional information: Rehearsals will be on evenings, Mondays through Thursdays, July 17-27 (eight rehearsals +1 tech/dress between Jul 31 and Aug 2). Actors will arrive at the first rehearsal mostly off-book and with a fair understanding of the songs (tracks will be provided). Performances are Aug 3-13. Submission deadline: June 10th. Please see the attachments for more details. When applying, please upload a video of yourself singing/acting your choice of an upbeat song, musical theatre or other genre (verse and chorus only). You can use a backing track, or you can accompany yourself, or you can sing a cappella – directors just want to hear your voice and see you expressing the song that you choose. You DO NOT NEED a headshot – the video will do! You DO NOT NEED a resume. This is a fun show, and directors want the whole experience to be light and celebratory.
