Non Union Talent Sought for Film Project
Casting actors for film project. Looking for a diverse group of thespians willing to take risks. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: It is non-union and no pay. Credit, reel and meals during filming provided. Additional info: Filming at the end of June in the Austin area, a firm date to follow. This film touches on tough subjects such as child abuse and neglect. The subject matter is strong and will require the right people to bring it to life. Once completed, this project will be submitted to film festivals both stateside and abroad, your acting abilities will be on display and reaching a wide audience. When applying, please include a headshot, resume, and reel. When submitting please state which charter you are interested in.

Must be comfortable portraying a neglectful/abusive mother. She sees her son as an obstacle and burden.
Known outlaw biker/criminal/drug dealer. Takes part in the mistreatment of the child.
One line but carries the scene. Must be able to express emotion through facial expression and gestures. Must be comfortable handling a prop firearm.
Casting will be in relation to the younger version. Must be able to display a wide range of emotions. Plays imaginary best friend of the boy, helps him deal with his circumstances.
Must have a military look. Has come to terms with his childhood and what he went through.
