About the project: The Worlds Divide Is an action-packed sci-fi film set in two worlds. One, a dystopian cyber-punk future and the other, the lush fantasy world of Esluna. This adventure story Natures a girl named Natomi who Is sent to the world of Esluna, where she and her newfound friends try to navigate this new world in attempts to get to her father, a god of this world, before she is hunted and killed by the ruthless queen. Rate: Non-union. Paid. Additional information: Cast requires the ability to self-record clean, professional sound from home. All auditions must be recorded with your own set-up and will also be judged on the quality of the recordings. Dates: Recording for any one role will take place over one hour session sometime In late June. Earnest, sincere, confident, intelligent. From two worlds, Natomi is strong willed and has a high moral sense of justice. She is caring and empathetic and will fight for what she believes is right, even allowing her emotions to get the best of her to that end.
Lead. Wise, warm, confident and calculated. Natomi's father and a man of science. He often puts his work above his family as he believes it will only help them in the end.
Gruff, sassy, sarcastic, lots of attitude, comedic relief. Miito is a hard headed, gruff, cybernetic stuffed bear. He's lived for centuries and will always speak his mind.
Lead. Reliable, trust worthy, wise, father-figure. A world famous warrior known only as Lord Bataar, he is the voice of wisdom amongst the group. Calm and collected at all times with a sense of trustworthiness in his voice, Bataar helps Natomi on her journey.
Lead. Arrogant, driven, powerful, angry, and prone to violence. Idena is a ruthless queen of the world of Esluna. She has a lust for power and control and when Natomi arrives in her world, her rule is threatened and she will do whatever it takes to maintain her power.
Supporting. 20s (half of the film) 50s (second half of the film). Desperate, meek, emotionally instable. Flinn has always been undermined by his sister, Queen Idena. His exterior hides his inner pain of losing his mother to his mentor, Bataar. An anger snaps out of him whenever he hears Bataars name
Supporting, fun, sarcastic, sassy, energetic young, comedic relief. Roko is a pilot to our heroes airship Kibia. Roko and Miito are close friends and their banter is often times funny. Roko is lighthearted and youthful.
Featured, wise, calm, firm, strong, she's lived a life. Maeve is the caretaker to a farmhouse. In her youth, she was once a relic hunter known only as Chasers.
Featured, formal, highly educated, confident, bold-blooded. A monk of an esteemed high order. Derius is the advisor to the queen, and as such, he has a very stressful position. He's been instrumental to many high-level decisions in what is functionally a corrupt empire
