About the project: SYNOPSIS: Frey’s Anguish takes us to a present-day university campus, where a group of student activists discover the conflict between their ambition to change society, and the barriers to their success. A conflict between a desire to be important to society, and the challenges of the paths we choose, or fall into. As an international meeting on their campus approaches, they rally their idealism and their desire to be, and to do, more. They hit the wall of social order and the power of the state. Additional information: This is a non-Equity production. The production will be in Victoria, January 2024. A partial staged reading is in discussion for mid-summer 2023.
