"My Only Sunshine" Student Movie Needs Cast
Auditions for student film “My Only Sunshine”. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: My Only Sunshine: A grieving widower attempts to make amends with his in-laws while grappling with a crumbling psyche. Rate: Non-paid. Additional info: Please bring at least a resume. Headshots are not required but are preferred. You will be asked to read from a casting script provided at the audition alongside other actors, and you will be asked to answer a few questions. Make sure your resume includes contact info. (Race is not super important). The grieving widower trying to pick himself up after his wife, Lori Owens’ death.
Smaller stature preferred. The youngest child of the Owens family, JP bitterly grieves, angry at everyone around her.
Long hair preferred. The oldest child of the Owens family, Marcy avoids her grief by throwing herself into work.
Patriarch of the Owens family, Donnie Owens will sacrifice any part of himself for his family to be safe and happy again.
Matriarch of the Owens family, Loretta broke down and built herself back up after her daughter’s death. She wants to rebuild her family without having to break anything else.
