Open auditions for "Hands on a Hardbody" show. Looking for cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: Synopsis: Hands on a Hardbody takes place at a Nissan dealership in Longview, Texas, where ten contestants try to outlast each other to win a brand new red truck by keeping at least one hand on it as long as they can. Every character needs the truck to help change their lives for the better and to win their American dream. We see them struggle through the heat and exhaustion with humor, ambition, and hope. Rate: This is a volunteer-based organization. All roles for this production are cast as volunteers. Additional info: REHEARSALS Rehearsals will take place Monday-Friday from 7:00-10:00pm. You will not necessarily be called for every rehearsal and will receive a schedule in advance. At your audition appointment, please make directors aware of any preexisting conflicts. No conflicts will be permitted for Tech Week (week of September 3, 2023). PERFORMANCES Performances will be held Thursday-Sunday for three consecutive weekends: September 8, 2023 - September 24, 2023. No conflicts will be permitted for performance dates, as understudies will not be cast for this production. Please apply to confirm an audition appointment.
