ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for performers to play roles in "The Judge's Daughter" production. See more details below. About the project: This is a classic tale of tension between a mother and daughter set in the background of protests and a climate crisis. The mother is a judge sending people protesting the Trans Mountain Pipeline to prison. The daughter is falling in love with an activist. When tragedy strikes, the mother insists most people support her law and order stance. We ask the audience if they agree. Whose side will they take? Rate: Non-Union. Box office sales to be split amongst the cast and crew. Guaranteed a minimum of $100/performance/actor. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION: Online-only. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S): 7 - 17 September 2023, 6 performances of 60 minutes. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S): Vancouver. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 31, 2023. Table read in mid or late June. Rehearsals will start 1 August, location and exact dates/times TBD. Tech rehearsal in 1st week of September. When applying, please submit resume and headshot.
