About the project: “Viola is shipwrecked and believes her twin, Sebastian, has drowned. She disguises as a young man named Cesario, and works for Duke Orsino, who is in love with Olivia (who will not love him back) but is also confused about his feelings for Cesario. Viola falls for Orsino but cannot tell him as the woman she really is. Olivia, seeing Viola as Cesario, falls in love with the 'him.' Olivia's drunken Uncle Toby Belch and his friend Sir Andrew, plot to punish the house steward, Malvolio, because of his snobbish, better than thou attitude toward everyone. A mixed up comedy of gender identity and social status, all set against the backdrop of Twelfth Night, where anything is allowed to happen. Rate: $100 Additional info: Performances will be August 5, 12 at 2:00 pm and 6, 13 at 7:00 pm. You will be notified of a callback during the weeks of April 17-28. Rehearsals will begin the last week of June, four days a week (Mon, Wed & Thurs evenings and Sat days). A more complete rehearsal schedule will be provided at callbacks. Please apply if interested
