In need of male and female actors for "The Treehouse" project. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Based on the debut novel by Andrew J. Brandt, The Treehouse focuses on three young boys as they try to solve the mystery to a murder that they just witnessed from the comfort of their own treehouse, which they secretly built in the woods. But can they do it without being caught by the killer OR their parents? Rate: Roles are paid, but it will be low pay. This is a passion project, so don’t apply expecting to make a significant amount of money. Food will be catered to the set. Those involved will be given a personal copy of the film. A sixteen-year-old high school student who witnesses the murder. She is Lucas’s half-sister and is an easy-going person but is a bit defensive of herself. She also has trouble getting along with her stepfather and is keeping her boyfriend a secret from her parents.
A seventeen-year-old high school student who witnesses the murder. He is Allison’s boyfriend whom she is keeping a secret from her parents. He seems to care about Allison at first but is really just cocky and selfish.
A 37-year-old man who is responsible for the murder. He appears to be a calm and polite man but can get violent when he needs to.
Lucas’s biological father and Allison’s stepfather. He is an architect in his early 40s who loves his family, though Allison has trouble getting along with him.
Lucas’s and Allison’s biological mother. She is a real estate agent in her 40s, but is still attractive for her age and appears to be in her 30s. She loves her children and is very protective of them.
A police officer and Tyler’s father. He is committed to both his job and his family and is very protective of those around him.
Tyler’s mother. Her job is unknown, but she is very kind and willing to help anyone.
Elijah’s mother. She is a nurse who is divorced from her husband. She is protective of Elijah and his sister.
A sixteen-year-old girl who goes to Allison’s school and is reported missing. She is eventually reported to have been found dead. NOTE: Only seen in pictures/news articles.
Ariel’s mother. She is distraught by the disappearance of her daughter.
An officer who went to the same school as Allison who is assigned to the case on Ariel’s murder.
An officer who is a partner to Sullivan.
