About the project: Synopsis: Two brothers make their way through the eerie woods, hunting a beast that has noticeably taken a lot from them. As the eldest brother sports a gruesome bite mark on his neck, the bloody duo must now race against time, to kill the vicious creature that roams through the wilderness, before they eventually become just like it Rate: Meals (every 6 hours), Water/beverages, light snacks. Also, housing will be provided for main actors as well as carpooling, and an overall great shooting experience. PAID, plus IMDb credit, screen credit, and digital copy for a reel. Additional info: Date: July 7th-9th, 2023. 2 full-day shoots during the day. Location: Pinetop, Arizona Athletic actors are encouraged, due to the fact that there will be running through the woods involved. Open to any age and ethnicity. Often careless and self-doubting with important decisions, but always dependable when needed for a good fight, Jay has always been known to be the reckless troublesome counterpart to his responsible older brother Roy. Jay has often disappointed his mother with his life choices along the way, however, Roy has never left his side. The tables have now turned and the clock has begun to count down as Jay is forced to imagine a world where his hero isn't there to help and guide him.
Stoic but kind, Roy has always been the perfect older brother and son. At any moment’s notice, Roy has been there every time to protect his younger sibling when in trouble, and bring his family together. But this time around, Roy is feeling something new, fear. Fear that maybe this time he can’t protect his brother or worse, fear that maybe he himself will soon become the real danger to Jay.
A battered and blood-drenched woman that roams the woods with high agility and ferocity. Though the brothers are on the hunt for the monster to save themselves and anyone else who comes across it, at the end of the day they are truly the ones being hunted.
