Upcoming Audio Drama “Eat Your Heart Out” Seeks Voice Actors
In need of male and female voice artists for “Eat Your Heart Out” audio drama. See more details listed below. About the project: “Eat Your Heart Out” is a 3 episode audio drama from Wolf & Magpie Media. It is our fifth entry in our horror anthology, Full Moon Mischief, so it will contain coarse language, sexual themes (nothing NSFW), drug and alcohol use, as well as scenes of violence. Rate: $25-75/depending on the role. Additional info: -The audio drama will begin recording April 9th and all lines will be due by the end of Monday, April 24th. -Deadline: Saturday, April 9th at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). -Please label files as “CharacterName_YourName” (example: Hunter_JohnDoe) -Send all lines for one character in one MP3 file, ABCABC format. 2 takes max. -Feel free to throw in a little bit of improv in your second take, but please try to stay close to the script provided. -There is no need to slate. -XLR microphones are highly recommended. USB microphones will only be accepted if they are of higher quality and your space is properly sound-treated. No phones or gaming headsets. -See the attachment for more details. SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voiceprint- medium range- any accent $75 USD Appears in 2 episodes. Hunter is our main character’s best friend and one of the antagonists to this story. He is rich, arrogant and narcissistic, looking down on others (including his own friends). Though, he loves his younger sister and is quite protective of her.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. (Open to transwomen only) Voice print- any range- any accent $25 USD Appears in 2 episodes. Connie will be a main character in an upcoming visual novel. Connie is a smaller role in this drama. She is Hunter’s little sister, and is quite kind, but also very honest, whether people want to hear the truth or not.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voice print- medium to high- any accent $50 USD Appears in 3 episodes. Alana is one of the four friends that hang out with our main character. She’s carefree and a jokester, but has zero tolerance for sexist comments. Leo’s girlfriend.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voice print- medium to low- any accent $50 USD Appears in 3 episodes. Leo is easy-going and rarely ever gets upset, but that’s mainly because he wants to avoid confrontation. One of our main character’s good friends and Alana’s boyfriend.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voice print- medium to low- any accent $50 USD Appears in 3 episodes. Denise is sort of the mom of the group, but she doesn’t let her responsible nature stop her from having a good time. One of our main character’s good friends and Devon’s on and off again girlfriend.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voice print- medium to high- any accent $50 USD Appears in 3 episodes. Devon is the newest member of the friendship group and is Denise’s on and off again boyfriend. He is rather diplomatic, but isn’t afraid to speak his mind when people cross a line.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. Voice print- medium to low- any accent $25 USD Appears in 3 episodes. Camille is the bartender at the club the friends like to hangout at. Since they go regularly, she knows all of them rather well. She’s friendly, chipper and just someone that instantly makes you feel at ease when you are around her.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. (Open to Queer identifying VAs only) Voice print- medium to high- any accent $25 USD Appears in 2 episodes. Kylie is the barista who works at the cafe, Orca Beans, that the main character likes to go to. She has known the main character for a while and is a big supporter of his music. Friendly and has a great “customer service” voice.
SUPPORTING CHARACTER. “Extras” will either be chosen by demo reels or shortlisted auditions that didn’t quite make the cut for the supporting roles. Payment will be based on lines, but you will be guaranteed $10 even if you only have one or two lines.
