Actors/Voice Actors Needed for Paid Short Animated Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Actors/voice actors needed for a short animated film. Please, see the details below. About the project: A 5-minute animated short film, drama/fantasy serious tone (think Princess Mononoke by Studio Ghibli), set in a Polish tavern and by a river. Rate: Non-union. Paid. Additional information: Ontario-based actors. Women, BIPOC, LGBT+ folks, disabled people, and actors from other marginalized communities are strongly encouraged to apply. Voice actor. Voice of a strong, caring, otherworldly mermaid, energy of a caring, wise mother, blurring with the energy of a playful, loving daughter. Can also show great anger when betrayed. Experience with singing is a HUGE plus. Actors without VO experience may apply.
Voice actor. Stoic, a boss, a bit jaded and resigned by the world around her, but her flame hasn't completely gone out. Could be the same actor for the Mermaid's voice, if the actor can do 2 convincingly different voices. Actors without VO experience may apply.
Actor. Need to film the performance of an elderly, kind-hearted, Fisherman for animators to reference, for authenticity. Could also be the voice actor for the character.
Actor. Need to film the performance of a brazen, self-centered, athletic, tall fisherman. Could also be the voice actor for the character.
