About the project: An inspirational fictional drama, inspired by real life events. The film follows Daniel Dawson, a respected psychologist who, in spite of skillfully attending to the needs of his clients, has a number of his own demons that are left unchecked. His spiral into self-destruction is interrupted when a new client, Wendy, sits in the chair across from him. The story of her struggle with Bulimia forces Daniel to relive his memories of a woman he was not able to save. Determined not to let Wendy meet the same fate, Daniel becomes obsessed with his new client and ever more determined to save her. He discovers that Wendy wants to be a singer, but her trauma has left her with crippling anxiety. He arranges a night for her to perform, but when her emotions overwhelm her, she takes matters into her own hands. Daniel must determine where she has gone and what she intends to do before it’s too late. Rate: The roles pay $50 for the first day of filming and $30 for each additional day. You will also receive IMDb credit and reel footage. Additional info: This is a passion project with a great story that needs to be told. The shoot dates are May 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, June 2, 3, 4. Not all roles are needed all of the days. (All 12 days). Psychologist, Daniel Dawson, is haunted by the death of a woman he was not able to save and his habit of self-medicating has him teetering close to the edge. When he sees Wendy, he is determined to save her. His desperation has him overstepping boundaries and getting him into dangerous situations.
(3 days) May 26, 27, 28. Daniel’s beautiful long-term girlfriend who is patient, but growing frustrated with Daniel’s lack of commitment and emotional issues.
(3 days) May 12, 13, (Hold on 14th), 19. Poppy’s father who is concerned about her well-being, but treads lightly into any conversation with her regarding it. He feels hopeless but reaches out to Daniel for help.
(1 day) May 14. Good-looking young man from a well-to-do family. He charms Poppy into his bedroom, drugs her, and then rapes her. It seems he has gotten away with it.
