About the project: Disney's Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new show jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films. Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island. Until now! When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? Additional info: There is a registration fee for those cast. What to Expect at Auditions: ​Check-in at the lobby table to complete your registration. Singing: Directors will go over limited verses and chorus' of several songs from the production. Those auditioning for ensemble will sing group numbers together. Those auditioning for major vocal roles will sing those songs solo for the directors. Please prepare a chorus from one of the following songs based on the role that interests you: Adult Female: Evil Like Me Student Female: If Only Student Male: Did I Mention Student Ensemble: Rotten To The Core Acting: The directors will have sides from the script for you to read at the audition. Please note that you may not be able to read for every role that you indicated on your form. You are welcome to read the full script ahead of the audition. Performances: Jun. 1-3, 2023.
