The company is holding auditions for the 2023-24 Season Show "THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG" and looking for talent, please see the details below. Rate: SALARY SPT $549 weekly minimum (SPT 6) Additional info: Audition date: Lunch 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. First Rehearsal: 3/27/24. Runs: 4/18/24-6/2/24. Please prepare a short, contemporary monologue of your choosing. If singing, please prepare 18 bars of a musical theater song. Accompanist will be provided. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. Directors welcome all to audition, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, ability, or any other physical attribute. All auditionees must be fully vaccinated against Covid. Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas are not recommended. Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms. (Plays Charles Haversham, deceased). He’s been cast as a corpse but has trouble playing dead. Highly physical. Note: The actor cast in this role will need to be comfortable performing on a seven-foot-high platform with no railing. British Accent.

(Plays Florence, the fiance of the deceased who is having a secret affair with his brother). She is the company’s leading lady; a bit of a diva who thinks she’s more talented than she really is. Note: The actor cast in this role will need to be comfortable being in an enclosed box for up to 5 minutes. British Accent.

(Plays Cecil, brother of the deceased who is having a secret affair with Florence – also plays Arthur the gardener in Act II). British Accent.

(Plays Thomas, the deceased best friend and Florence’s brother). Earnest and optimistic, he always believes the show is going much more smoothly than it really is. Highly Physical. (The stage manager). Generally able to solve problems quickly. When she has to substitute as the leading lady, she goes from nervous to confident to downright competitive.
