The company is holding auditions for "Freaky Friday" the Musical, and looking for singers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter. Additional info: SHOW DATES: JUNE 9-25, 2023 (Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays) ABOUT AUDITIONS: Music and movement, no monologues. ACTORS ARE ASKED TO PREPARE 16-32 bars of music appropriate to the style of the show. Bring sheet music in the correct key, acapella is not appropriate. Wear comfortable clothing and be ready to move. They'll start with a group warmup and for choreography and movement. If you are interested, please apply.
