Professional Casting for "Nora" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Searching for actors to take part in "Nora" film. More details are below. About the project: PROJECT SYNOPSIS: Nora and Sophie are two roommates who don’t always get along due to their opposite personalities. One night, when Sophie decides to bring a guy home that she really wants to impress, things get awkward and the two girls are forced to navigate their relationship. Rate: Non-Union. This will be a volunteer project but we will provide the final cut for demo reels. Additional information: SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) February 8, 2023. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) TBA. SUBMISSION DEADLINE February 5, 2023. The production will have masks and hand sanitizers available to everyone on set and all crew members will be monitoring their health conditions prior to the shoot date. Nora has a B-type personality, is easy-going, and generous. She has struggled with depression in the past but is very open about it. She’s tolerant of Sophie’s high-strung tendencies but is also quite lazy and messy. Nora does not feel competitive with Sophie and is very much her own person. She’s pretty but not vain. She’s a bit of a procrastinator and lacks drive/structure in her life.
Sophie has an A-type personality, is a perfectionist, and a high-achiever. Sophie is very hard on herself and often gets annoyed at Nora’s sloppiness as a roommate but is simultaneously envious of her strong sense of individuality. She is pretty but is concerned Mark will find Nora more attractive.
Mark is a handsome, charismatic, and well-read man. He’s still feeling things out with Sophie but finds her physically attractive. He treats everyone the same and is not an “alpha bro” type. Preferred if you can speak Spanish or French.
