Casting Call for "The Color Purple" Play
The company is conducting auditions for "The Color Purple" show and seeking singers to participate. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Feb 20th 7-10pm (callbacks by invite only) Performances are May 12th -27th, Thurs, Fri, Sat. Rehearsals 2-3 days a week until Mid-April then 3-4 days a week (subject to change based on cast conflicts) Prepare 32 bars of music (not from the show) that showcases your vocal range and storytelling • Come prepared to dance. You will be taught a dance combination • Will be given readings. Provided at auditions • Arrive in time to complete an audition form Please come to auditions prepared to provide your most transparent understanding of your rehearsal conflicts for any days during the time frame Feb 26-May 27th.
