Dancers/Singers Needed for Musical Production of "Hello Dolly"
The company is holding auditions for "Hello Dolly" Show and looking for dancers/singers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Dolly Levi is a widow, matchmaker, and a professional meddler who ‘arranges things.’ Everything changes when she decides that the next match, she needs to make is to find someone for herself! Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Hello Dolly! is boisterous and charming from start to finish, featuring such memorable songs as “Before the Parade Passes By,” “It Only Takes a Moment,” “It Takes a Woman,” and—of course—the title number. “It’s nice to have you back where you belong!” Additional info: What: Please prepare a short vocal selection in the style of the show that shows your abilities and range (bring sheet music if selection is not from the show). An accompanist will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear for dance audition. Also, expect cold readings from the script for key roles. Performance Dates: August 11, 12, 18, 19 @ 7:30 PM; August 20 @ 2PM Tentative Rehearsal Schedule: Sundays from 6 – 9 PM; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 – 10:00 PM Please see the attachment for more details.
