Additional info: Call Back Auditions: February 15, 2023, at 6:00PM Performances: April 14-30, 2023 Rehearsals: 6:00PM-10:00PM Monday-Thursday February 21-March 02, 2023 No Rehearsals March 03-12, 2023 Rehearsals: 6:00-10:00PM Monday -Friday, March 13-April 13, 2023 & April 08, 2023, 10:00AM-4:00PM What to Prepare for Auditions: 1. Option A): A One (1) Minute song cut of your choice. It may be from RENT, or from any other musical, or a pop song. We suggest it be in a rock music style. Bring Sheet Music, An Accompanist will be provided. NO a cappella singing or singing with a recording. Option B): Learn & Sing a song cut taught at the audition by the music director to the group as a whole, and then sung back solo, by each person auditioning. 2. Dance Audition: The choreographer with teach a dance sequence to the auditioning group, dancing the sequence in small groups. Note: Please wear clothes & shoes you can dance, kick, jump, & roll on the ground in. 3. For those asked to the Callback Auditions: further singing, dancing, script reading/work, and interviews will be conducted. Please refer to the Character Breakdown attached. Headshots & Resumes may be submitted at Auditions, but are not required. Audition Forms will be completed by those auditioning at the auditions.
