Synopsis: Director Chuck Beckett and his complacent crew are making his magnum opus, a movie that could change the world, and all it costs is the sanity of his lead actress Amy. However, after a supernatural encounter with one of Chuck’s previous victims, Amy gains the power to teach him the ultimate lesson in karma, one take at a time. Rate: Credit, Copy of Film, and Meals. The Lead Characters will be paid $150 per day and the Supporting Characters will be paid $100 per day. (Lead) (The Director) Narcissistic, emotional, callous. Chuck wants his films to change the world and will do anything to get the perfect take, no matter the cost. With an obedient crew, nothing will stop him from torturing his actors to get something he calls “real”.
(Lead) (The Actress) Naive, impressionable, brave. She wasn’t the first choice for the role, but after Chuck’s previous actress “disappeared”, this could be Amy’s big break. She’s heard the stories of her new director and still plans to give it her all, but isn’t prepared for what it might cost her.
(Supporting) (The Cinematographer) Stoic, apathetic, confident. A seasoned cinematographer, Bill has seen the likes of Chuck throughout his career. He has grown indifferent to the pain inflicted on actors and doesn’t blink an eye as long as he gets paid.
(Supporting) (The Assistant Director) Devoted, supportive, esteemed. The right hand woman to Chuck, she reveres his mad genius and aims to follow in his footsteps as a director herself.
(Supporting) (The Sound Guy) Anxious, quiet, withdrawn. New to the game, Reggie’s number one goal is invisibility. As long as he keeps his head down, he won’t be the target of Chuck’s tirades.
(Supporting) (The Crying Woman) Crazed, dazed, zombified. A talented actress whose experience with Chuck permanently fractured her mind and drove her to the point of insanity
