"Modern Motherhood" Feature Documentary Film Seeks Women

About the project: "Modern Motherhood" is a feature documentary film that features a visual dialogue between a diverse group of women. Women of different races, cultures and creeds join in an open narrative to celebrate the success and failures of modern motherhood. Featuring gripping stories that highlight the trials, the victories and the defeats of day-to-day mothering, this project seeks to tell various diverse stories through the experiences of several diverse perspectives. Rate: For Discovery phase meetings, pay is $50 per meeting. For the one-day shoot, pay is $750.00 per person if selected. Directors would like to film in the homes of the talent if feasible, and they will provide a location fee of $500. Additional info: This is a non-union short documentary project. Directors are hoping to find talent in the GTA but are open to travel and film in your home up to 5 hours from Toronto, so from Toronto to Sudbury or Montreal. There will be discovery phase online meetings for each of the segment subjects. These meetings would be twice a week for 1 - 2 hours, lasting four weeks, followed by one day of filming for each segment if selected. Must be available for these key dates: Zoom Interview: October 16th to 22nd, 2022. Online meetings: October 23rd to October 29th, 2022. Make-up & Wardrobe: November 12th, 2022 via online video Shoot: One day between November 20th to 26th, 2022. Is there a day that doesn't work Production and talent will follow all COVID SAFETY ON SET PROTOCOL. Vaccination - All film crew and talent must be fully vaccinated in order to be on set.
