ROLE REQUIRES RUNNING. With the competitive edge of a thoroughbred, there are few things in life Brodie enjoys sharing. This makes it all the more impressive knowing Brodie's also had to grow up alongside a younger brother with serious boundary issues. Even so, Brodie's learned to persevere and hold his tongue. That is until his brother starts challenging Brodie's distinction as best runner on the cross country team and sends him past his breaking point.

ROLE REQUIRES RUNNING. Forever the starry-eyed underdog, Archie has spent his whole life playing catch-up to his disdainful older brother, Brodie. The two even still share a childhood bedroom. Regardless, Brodie's grown distant in recent years. After Archie joins his brother's varsity cross country team he gets the chance to close that distance and prove he can hang with Brodie, both on the trails and in life.

The well-intentioned cross country coach with a chance at his team winning big as long as he sparks the right fires. Lucky for him, his top two runners are brothers with an aggressive drive. If he can pin them against one another in the correct way, it might just take their times to the next level, along with a title and winning season for Coach O'Brien's team.
