About: This is a nonprofit organization serving Broward County's senior residents, age 60 or older. The Agency plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs; funds services; and is the prime Advocate for residents of Broward County, Florida, 60 years of age or older. They are your one-stop source of information regarding services in Broward County, Florida, for seniors, persons with severe and persistent mental illness, ages 18 and over, their families, and caregivers. Additional info: You will be responsible for producing, reviewing and editing various content pieces, including articles and features, as well as assets for info-graphics, social media blogs, the Agency website, videos and more. Your passion for effective communications will result in the adoption and implementation of digital content best practices across all channels. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, skilled at creating videos, have experience with creating digital content and a team player. You will be responsible for researching on the key SEO terms and implementing them in the content to gain maximum exposure for this Agency, and an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s communication channels over time. Candidates must have 3 years or more of experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. When applying, please include resume.
