Casting call for "Cyberfish" a science fiction short film. Actors required. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Logline: In the distant future, sea life has gone near extinct and fishing is a practice of the past until one girl sets out to find the big catch that will bring back a connection to her past. Rate: Paid. Please see the characters' description. Meals will be provided on set. Additional info: Non union. Shooting: September 30th-October 2nd. This short film is being created for the Senior Thesis class. When applying, please include what role(s) you are interested in and directors will send you the audition materials.

($225 for 3 days) a stubborn girl who looks up to her grandfather as her role model, and finds comfort in this dreary future through his old music and the reminder of simpler times. Without the comforts of what she has left of him, she is scared of the world around her.
($225 for 3 days) a very independent girl who shows little care for herself or others due to her independent youth, but really is just looking for a friend.
($50 for one day) a grizzled man who is hardened by the tough life he has lived and shows little interest to the outside world except for music and making money.
