Timidly on edge, closed off, and being too afraid to ask for help, Eliana is internally battling with her faith as she processes a traumatic event. She struggles to be vulnerable with those she's closest with and often snaps to protect herself, continuing down a spiral where everything boils over.
Soft spoken, gentle-hearted, and left in the dark about what's going on with his friend, Liam does his best to bring comfort to Eliana, aware that something is troubling her heart. He desperately wants to help, but is afraid of making the situation worse.
Intimidating, almost emotionless, and always lurking in the shadows. He appears mostly through quick-flashes, but is also haunting Eliana, constantly reminding her of the hands she has suffered at.
