Usage: One (1) year in Atlantic Canada for video (broadcast, online/digital, possible cinema), and stills (digital and print) Renewal: Rate + 10% for each additional year of usage. PRINCIPAL ROLE. The Neighbour has lived on this stretch of coast his whole life and has spent decades keeping a property standing against the Atlantic. He’s capable and unhurried, and he talks to the camera like he’s chatting with a neighbour at the end of the driveway. He’s direct and quietly confident, and he never sells. He has to handle a drill naturally, like it’s an extension of his hand. A natural Maritime voice is a bonus but not required. Please, no put-on accents.
FEATURED ROLE. Note: Real people and non-actors are welcome for featured roles, provided they’re comfortable on camera. Confident and practical. She’s clearly done this job before.
FEATURED ROLE. They put the tools away, close the chest and give themselves a small, satisfied nod. It’s a tiny moment, so we need someone who can play it with no performance at all.
FEATURED ROLE. Parent: Any Gender Teen: Any Gender 14 to 17. They’re easy with each other and work side by side. Real parent/child pairs are welcome, so please call it out if that’s you.
