Transportation reimbursed (TTC or parking). All-day craft table, one hot meal. Credit and copy of material. Additional information: Production Type: Short. Project length: 4-6min. Project format: Digital. Production location: Toronto. Audition Location: self-tape. Shooting Location: Toronto. Auditions: Open now until Nov.23. By this age, Nikola may be a tired, bitter, penniless, and disillusioned old man, but he is still mentally razor sharp, with an unquenchable (almost childlike) desire for invention. A germaphobe with OCD, he is undeniably odd and leery of strangers (and humans in general), especially after years of having his inventions “stolen” for profit by others (damn you, Thomas Edison!).
At first, Rawlins passes himself off as a gee-whiz, shucks kinda guy - an electrical engineer from Brooklyn. However, it’s a cover; he is in fact a no-nonsense federal agent, here at this bar to get his target - foreign national Nikola Tesla - to turn over his inventions and talent for the war effort.
