Lead, female presenting. Hard-headed, tough, and resilient. Dorothy has survived this long with the ability to seperate her emotions from her circumstances. She can't help but feel resentful towards Jonathan as she feels utterly trapped by their relationship. Requires implied intimacy and appearing in underwear.
Supporting, male presenting. Well-meaning, anxious, and a touch overbearing, Jonathan has shaped his identity around taking care of Dorothy but fears that he cannot care for her in the way she needs. Feeling her slipping away he holds on tighter and tighter. Requires a simulated kiss on the neck.
Supporting, male presenting. Intimidating yet sympathetically awkward, Demas has spent the majority of his life isolated from human connection. Though he would never say it out loud, he cares for Dotty deeply as she is the first person he's been able to speak with intimately.
