Donny and Tish are starting a new life together when Donny brings home a vintage 1950s Chillarama refrigerator. What begins as a quirky addition to their new home quickly turns sinister when the fridge mysteriously consumes their food and produces an endless supply of wine. As strange events continue to unfold, Donny is driven into paranoia, driving a wedge between him and Tish and steadily consuming his life. As Donny's drinking spirals out of control, he loses his relationship and ultimately himself. In a final act of surrender, he climbs inside the refrigerator, allowing it to consume him.

Donny (32) is a recovering alcoholic moving into a new home with his girlfriend, Tish. After two months of proclaimed sobriety, he remains in denial about his addiction, convinced he can drink without losing control. As unsettling events unfold, he slips back into his old habits. Sober, Donny is lighthearted, curious, and responsible. Drunk, he becomes brash, forgetful, and accusatory, threatening the relationship he's trying to build.
Tish (25) is Donny’s loving, fiercely supportive girlfriend, excited to build a life together in their new home. A nurse on a psychiatric ward, she often returns from exhausting shifts relying on Donny’s support. She has stood by him through his recovery, but when alcohol returns and his behavior grows erratic, her trust begins to crumble. Torn between love and repeated disappointment, Tish must decide how much more she can endure.
