"Palm Stone" Student Short Film Needs Cast
Looking for a female lead along with 2 supporting characters for "Palm Stone" student short film. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: A dedicated therapist keeps herself occupied with work and household routines as her clients' stories begin to challenge her avoidance of her own grief. Rate: Unpaid. Meals, screen credit, and footage for acting reels will be provided. Travel reimbursement may be discussed depending on distance and available budget. Additional info: Non union. Shooting November 13-15. Three-day production. Individual actors' required days will depend on their role. No rehearsals are currently planned. When applying, please include your headshot, resume, acting reel, and availability for November 13-15. Selected applicants will be invited to submit self-tape auditions.

Supporting. Jennifer's husband. Warm, playful, and loves baseball, Jack brings familiar teasing and easy affection to their relationship. Seeking natural chemistry with Jennifer. The role includes potential hugging and cuddling; no kissing or nudity.
Supporting. A grieving client who finds unexpected comfort in a memory of her partner. Exhausted but capable of warmth and humor, Sarah shares an experience that deeply affects Jennifer. Seeking an honest, understated performance.
Voice-only supporting role - adult woman; Jack's mother who continues reaching out despite unanswered calls. Her voice carries familiarity and emotional warmth. Recording arrangements will be discussed with selected applicants.
