CYBERPUNK PROJECT 2038 - Short SAG-AFTRA Micro Budget Agreement This is a short 10 minute proof-of-concept for a Sci-Fi feature film which will be released internationally in the film festival circuit. Shoot Dates: December 5 - 6, 2026 Rate of Pay: $300 USD per day on a Most Favored Nations (MFN) basis with other cast members in comparable roles. Location: Los Angeles, CA Storyline: In a near-future society where a tech giant replaces deceased loved ones with lifelike A.I., an intuitive and rebellious young woman named Zoe begins to unravel the dark truth behind the company's altruistic vision, risking everything to expose a sinister agenda that could redefine humanity. Zoe arrives at her friend James's apartment for their usual hangout, and finds him in shock. His mother Lorraine is dead. Together they walk in, only to find Lorraine sitting on the couch, prim and composed, as if nothing happened. Hispanic, Mixed Ethnicity. Lorraine is a masterclass in control, a character who has to be warm, charming, and quietly terrifying in the same breath, often the same line. She's playing a performance of a person, which means every choice, the smile, the pat on the knee, the sudden flash of something colder underneath, has to read as calculated even when it looks effortless. Prim and proper, always in control, Lorraine gives the impression that not everything is as it seems.
