An editor leading an investigative team. Driven and tired, direct but not cruel. He’s carrying a story that implicates a whole town, including himself. Looking for: an actor who can play urgency with restraint.
An attorney and Martin’s longtime friend. Relaxed and guarded at first, then defensive, then cracked open. His anger is armor, and the real emotion underneath is shame. Looking for: an actor who can move from ease to rupture and find vulnerability under the volume.
