Tilda is a widowed mother. She lives alone in a clean quiet home. After the death of her husband, her only child Kyle began to assume responsibility of his father's legacy within the family Oil Company. Her attempts to form a close relationship with her son have fallen short, as his behaviour becomes more erratic as he climbs the corporate ladder.
Bill is from a rural farm. He moved to the city and became CEO of a famous Calgary Oil Company. He is the kind of businessman who will give ya a stern handshake, a cold beer and wears cowboy boots with his suits. Bill is a serious man who tends to be a little creepy at times. He runs a tight ship and high production outfit. Nothing will get in the way of his family. His connections run deep in the city and he knows a thing or two about what money can buy.
