Theater Audition for "Almost, Maine" Play

About the play: Composed of 8 scenes, a prologue, interlogue, and epilogue, "Almost, Maine" explores themes of love and heartbreak, all with humorous and real dialogue. “One cold, clear, midwinter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of "Almost, Maine", find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend –almost– in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.” This play is perfect for actors who love naturalistic interactions and creating different characters. Rate: Unpaid. Additional information: Acting experience is preferred, but don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t have any. Directors need someone who will be able to commit to 1-2 rehearsals a week, probably lasting around 2 hours per rehearsal in November/December, and 4-5 hours in January/February. Directors will take off 2 weeks for the holidays. They are planning on performing this play February 12-14, 2027. Looking for someone committed, respectful, and enthusiastic about performing.
