ID: 323282Exp: 11/2/2026
Description:

Casting performers for concert version presentation of new musical "There She Is". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. For your reference, please see the details below. About the project: “There She Is” is a gender-bent 1960s retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol”. It tells the story of Sara, the reigning Miss Minnesota who is competing for Miss America. She has Scrooge-like cynicism and treats her staff and family quite harshly until she is visited by Miss Americas of the past, present and future on the eve of the pageant. Additional info: Non union. Below are all the singing roles. Since this is a concert version, additional speaking roles will not be included in this presentation. Performance will ideally be one night in May or June 2027. Please list any conflicts during that time. That will be extremely helpful with the planning process. If you are interested, please apply.
