About the project: LOGLINE: When a protective father forces his son to buzz off his afro, a lively barbershop erupts in a debate on what it means to present black. Mentions police brutality, racism and racial trauma This is an ensemble piece and focuses on the liveliness of the BARBERSHOP and its importance to community, every character is important to the story. Rate: Can accept union and non-union actors through the student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meals will be provided. Additional information: SHOOTING DAYS: November 20 - 23. LOCATION: TBD (GTA area). This shoot may potentially be an overnight shoot, TBD. If interested please submit head shots and demo reels.
