Morse has been searching everywhere for a special Christmas gift for his grandson. As a last resort, he wanders into Nick’s Emporium, an old-fashioned store filled with gifts and knickknacks. While trying to explain what he is looking for, Morse falls under the spell of the mysterious old storekeeper. Just as Morse is about to make a purchase, he steps outside to chase children away from his car. When he returns, the store is dark and quiet, and a policeman tells him it has been closed for forty years. Morse eventually finds his way back to the store and to a time when he was a younger man. This full-length Yuletide fantasy combines holiday spirit and humor, reminding audiences of the magic of Christmas and the joy of finding a place where time stands still.
