Type: Scientist / Inventor / Protagonist Miranda is brilliant, obsessive, and morally driven. She has spent years trying to solve a global problem and now realizes her invention could become a weapon. She is not a mad scientist. She is a responsible scientist forced into an impossible ethical decision.
Type: Research Assistant / Audience Surrogate Miranda's loyal research assistant and confidant. Intelligent, earnest, and idealistic, Dave serves as the moral compass of the story. Though less experienced than Miranda, he possesses courage and conviction that emerge when their work comes under threat.
Type: Government Scientist / Antagonist A polished representative of the Department of Scientific Endeavors. Calm, articulate, and highly intelligent, Cushing believes scientific advancement should serve national interests at any cost. He is not a traditional villain; he genuinely believes his actions are justified.
Type: Military Enforcer Military liaison from the Department of War. Thorn is disciplined, physically imposing, and accustomed to following orders without hesitation. Looking for an actor who can communicate authority, intimidation, and professionalism through behavior as much as dialogue.
