About the project: The film follows Rick, a professional apologist, as he faces his estranged son and finally takes responsibility for the biggest mistake of his life: abandoning him. But when his son refuses to forgive him, Rick must accept that their relationship can never be repaired and finally walk away from the career that let him avoid his own mistakes. Rick is a 58-year-old man who always acts in a very formal manner. rick doesn't have a work-life balance, as his entire life revolves around his profession. rick has spent the past couple of decades being an apologist and apologizing to strangers on other people's behalf. rick has spent the past 40 years of his life living in guilt and regret from abandoning his son Matt M. Lloid.
Laid-back, relaxed, nonchalant. matt is relaxed and comfortable with where he is at in life. he has spent his entire life wondering what happened and where his father is. because of rick leaving, matt's mother also left, causing matt to live without a parent. matt is finally at a stage in life where he's well-off; he now has a loving family, a house and a stable income. because of this, matt believes that it's finally time for him to confront rick for abandoning him.

Victoria is very blunt, and she doesn't care about what other people think of her. Victoria hasn't always been wealthy, but in recent years, with the surge in demand for professional accusers, she grew to help build an empire around this profession. despite Victoria's wealth and lack of care for the people she accuses, she has a lot of heart for the people she defends.
