Seeking Actors for Production of "Always...Patsy Cline"
AEA and Non-Union actors needed for roles in Theatre's 2027 Season show "Always...Patsy Cline". Kindly find the details below for your reference. Rate: $500.00 – $800.00 per week. Additional info: Casting actors who are racially, ethnically, and physically diverse, as well as, inclusive of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities. Sign-up begins 8 AM, auditions from 9 AM - 5 PM (lunch 1PM). WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare your best 16-32 bar song cut; An additional selection from your vocal book OR a 1-minute monologue may or may not be requested. Please bring a hardcopy headshot/resume. Additionally, you may be asked to attend a dance call on the day of the audition at 5 PM. (Female-presenting) Gifted vocalist with a rich, powerful alto/contralto belt with strong mix; must comfortably carry the score and embody Patsy’s warmth, wit, and quiet strength. Captures the essence and vocal style of the iconic country star without impersonation. Confident, charismatic, grounded, with emotional depth and ease in storytelling through song.
(Female-presenting) Strong actor with excellent comedic timing and dramatic range. Big-hearted, brash, and charmingly direct; serves as narrator and emotional anchor of the piece. Must sustain high energy, connect easily with an audience, and create a deeply authentic portrayal of a devoted fan whose friendship changes both women’s lives. Strong Texan Accent. Singing ability helpful, but role is primarily text-driven.
