(and her child): Seeking real moms with a baby or child up to 5 years old. Applicants must have experienced urgent maternal warning signs during pregnancy or postpartum, such as: Swelling of the feet and hands Persistent headaches with vision changes Dizziness Trouble breathing These symptoms should have later been diagnosed as serious or life-threatening pregnancy-related complications, such as severe preeclampsia, stroke, or blood clots.
Seeking a licensed healthcare provider, such as an ER doctor, general practitioner, OBGYN, family medicine physician, or PCP. Looking for doctors rather than nurses. The provider should be able to speak with authority and warmth about urgent maternal warning signs and the complications that can occur when they are left untreated.
