(THE HUSBAND) — LEAD Ex-Marine Special Forces. Imposing, athletic, and perpetually tense. He operates with elite tactical intellect but suffers from severe PTSD and photosensitivity. Needs an actor capable of convincing, rigorous hand-to-hand stunt choreography. He shifts from a man desperately trying to suppress his past to a terrifyingly competent protector.
(THE WIFE) — LEAD Warm, radiant, and approachable. She is deeply empathetic and trusting to a fault, acting as the emotional anchor for her traumatized husband. Her natural urge to foster community and her open heart make her the tragic target of the plot.
SARAH (THE NEIGHBOR) — LEAD Thin, unassuming, and "innocent-looking." She is a bold, calculating master manipulator who weaponizes her harmless appearance and neighborly politeness to set up the ultimate trap. The actor must balance a sickeningly sweet persona with chilling micro-expressions.
SUPPORTING A veteran police officer who is corrupt, arrogant, and opportunistic. He provides the logistical cover and systemic authority for the violent setup, while letting his younger pawns do the dirty work inside.
(THE FLANKER) — SUPPORTING Fit, aggressive, and highly physical. The muscle of the corrupt operation. He is overly hostile and initiates a brutal physical ambush, requiring high-intensity stunt work and combat choreography.
(THE TALKER) — SUPPORTING Slightly less imposing than Cop 1. A nervous pawn who lacks the nerve for high-stakes deception. He is prone to sweating and stammering when cornered, and his verbal mistakes ultimately unravel the conspiracy.
