About the project: Always the confidant, never the crush, Larry finally gets his shot at love, and he‘ll lie to everybody—including himself—to keep it. We Can't Help Ourselves is a new musical about love, denial, and the distractions that keep us from facing the terrible truth we all share. It's never been worse to be young and single. And yet, somehow, we can't help ourselves. Rate: Stipend: $750 Additional info: Auditions: Sunday, October 18th from 5:30-9:30pm & Monday October 19th from 1-5pm. Callbacks: Monday, October 26th from 4-9pm. Rehearsals: November 16th-December 5th. Workshop Presentation: December 6th. When applying, please include headshot, resume, a cut of a Golden Age musical theater song, and either a reel or contemporary monologue. Selected actors will receive a signup sheet with audition timeslots. Music and sides will be provided ahead of auditions.
